Improvisation, drama and storytelling games for the class.
Some teachers are fans of fun attention grabbing icebreakers, improvisation and story telling games mixed with a bit of drama. And there is good reason for this, as they bring variety into classes, help teachers be effective and win students over. Other teachers might be unaware of such techniques, so this article is devoted to shedding some light on them. We will start with a fleeting reference to “whispered instructions” or “call backs”, which are used to quieten students and give us a pleasant start with our lesson. So the teacher might say; “hands on top’’ and the trained students respond with “everybody stop”.
