The Story Path is another device which lends itself to whole class participation in the enacting or retelling of a story, a literature piece or a reader. Exposure to stories, as we all know, helps language acquisition in a natural way. Stories provide an excellent context for vocabulary, grammar and structure retention and allows us to escape from our mundane reality into strange worlds which we could not have approached otherwise. Literature stories, in particular, mold our thinking  through the messages they convey. Stories connect teachers with students, fellow humans and to the collective human experience. Storytelling infuses classroom with activities, movement and turn potentially dry academic lessons into engaging, multi-modal experiences which kids remember and talk about with their family and friends.
